Pros

I can't think of any Pros at this time. HQ and a few offices seem to be high functioning and well oiled but that does not trickle down through the majority of offices

Cons

Sharing offices with other companies (parent companies, new acquisitions, etc). Leads for competition within the office and an unenjoyable working environment. Management in new or emerging markets was disorganized and inexperienced. Benefits aren't good. No company wide unification, no idea as to what other offices are doing or where they may be making progress. No centralized database for contracts and contacts, multiple and different systems being used in different offices. Empty promises to get people to jump on board. C-level promotes one type of sale and system then management within emerging markets promotes something else.

Outdated Agency Run By Fear

Pros

Full-time job with benefits. Responsive Human Resources Department Competitive compensation.

Cons

Recruiters pretty much live in fear of losing their jobs each day. There is a "blame the recruiter" mentality for events that are completely out of the recruiters control. Management is comprised of people who have never recruited or haven't recruited in the past ten years so there are large gaps between their expectations and reality. One keeps telling us to use the telephone like he did back in the day when they "smiled-and-dialed." The sales team is rudderless, undisciplined and unmotivated without any sort of cohesive strategy or plan to follow. They seem to come and go at random with no idea who are what they are going to pursue tomorrow. The requisitions they do bring in would be labeled "C" jobs in any competent agency. Outdated tools actually inhibit the recruiter's ability to recruit. The entire system dates to around 2004. Maxhire running on Windows 7 with both Gmail and Google Drive blocked as "insecure" websites. Frequent hangs and crashes get really frustrating. Low resolution monitors just make it worse. The ATS is virtually unusable yet your metrics are derived from it so people enter the bare minimum making it even less usable. They use one job board, Career Builder. They deemed Linkedin Recruiter as unnecessary! Though you can get around this with x-ray searches it slows down the entire recruiting cycle. You are judged by the number of outgoing phone calls you make though almost all communication to IT people begins with a thread of email, so recruiters just fake the calls to meet the metric. They are completely closed to new ideas. The managers do ask for new ideas and the recruiters dutifully submitted them but then no action takes place no feedback is given. The president himself does not seem understand IT recruiting which is probably where most of their problems can be sourced. He puts a lot of pressure on producing revenue but offers nothing in way of attaining that revenue.

Pros

It was a decent paycheck.

Cons

No support of their employees. Poor communication, pretty much everything else about working for them other than the generous pay was full of lies, and deception. Also, be wary of their recruiters. Make sure you document everything, and save all emails. It will help you down the road.

We appreciate all constructive comments. Our drive to make this one of the best places to work in our industry has enabled us to become one of the largest and fastest growing companies in our industry. Our business attracts many individuals due to the unlimited earnings potential but it is also challenging for individuals new to this business who are required to learn new skills and work hard to be successful. Our Open Door practice encourages open, direct and personal communication and we want to hear from our employees if they have concerns. If employees don’t feel comfortable speaking to their manager, they are encouraged to speak to Human Resources. We strongly feel that comments from former employees like the one above are heavily biased and an unfair portrayal of our company, culture and work environment. If you are the individual that posted this comment and would like to discuss your thoughts with us in a more constructive setting, please contact our Human Resources department.
