Pros

I’ve had a great experience working at Four Hands. It’s a company that truly invests in its people, not just professionally, but personally as well. The benefits are a huge plus, especially the fully covered health insurance, which takes a lot of stress off employees. They also offer tuition assistance and strong professional development opportunities, which makes it easy to grow your career and keep learning. It’s clear that Four Hands values long-term growth and supports employees in reaching their goals. Overall, it’s a supportive, people-first environment with great benefits and real opportunities to develop.

Cons

there is really no health and wellness benefits

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, we’re glad to hear that you’ve felt supported both professionally and personally during your time at Four Hands. It’s especially meaningful to know that our investment in development, tuition assistance, and comprehensive health coverage has had a positive impact. We also appreciate your candid feedback regarding health and wellness benefits. This is an area we’re continuing to evaluate as we look for ways to better support our team holistically, and input like this helps inform where we can improve.

Pros

We are Hybrid -able to work from home 2 days a week. Good benefits and time off.

Cons

The Controller and CFO are only concerned about the bottom line and not their employees well being. We are over worked, and micro managed, and belittled for any mistakes. The fun atmoshphere is non existent and certainly not the Four Hands way as a whole.

We appreciate your feedback, and it is unfortunate to hear that you feel your work is not being valued at Four Hands. As always, if you feel there are circumstances we can address, we encourage our employees to take advantage of our open-door policy and speak People & Culture team as needed.

Pros

In general, it is a laid-back, fun company to work for that is also growing at a decent rate. The compensation/benefits are fair, and the company is filled with mostly good people.

Cons

I absolutely can not recommend working in the accounting department to friends or colleagues. New leadership has came in and taken all of the fun and freedom away from us while micromanaging and reprimanding the team as a whole on a daily basis. We don't get an option of our daily schedules meanwhile the whole company can basically come and go as they choose. We have daily check ins to go around the group and tell the manager what we are working on currently. The team morale is at an all time low and the turnover has already started to happen. Lastly, the homegrown financial system is subpar to almost anything out there and makes our day to day job a lot more difficult than it should be.

As an employee at Four Hands, you know we value ALL feedback, and appreciate the honest and open thoughts you have shared through this review. Our leadership team has been very transparent over the past 12 months about the need for the accounting function to evolve to support the record-breaking growth we have seen in the last few years. Four Hands is currently undergoing an accounting transformation, focused on the implementation of financial controls and accountability. In addition, as you are aware, this team is also involved in the ERP initiative that will replace our current financial system in the next 12-18 months. Through this transformation, we expect this function to be more closely aligned with the business in order to prepare for our next phase of growth as we continue to lead our industry in everything we do. Change is challenging to navigate, across all levels and roles. Four Hands has been, and always will be, a value-driven company. We believe that through transparency and a shared commitment to challenge the status quo our people and our business will be set up to operate at their highest levels. Given the evolution of this team, and the challenges that can come with it, we encourage our employees to take advantage of our open-door policy and speak with their leadership team or the People & Culture team to address specific concerns in real time.
