Pros

PTO is good, decent holidays, flexible work schedule depending on manager. I've met some great people here.

Cons

They will work you like a dog. I went two years without an uninterrupted vacation or holiday. I always ended up at work, many of those days working over 12 hours without breaks. Your pay and bonuses are not going to reflect this hard work. They prioritize the voice of insecure and cowardly minority demographics who always seem to feel victimized and slighted by peers and leadership and regularly complain about it. In the six times I've witnessed this, each and every time the person was a severely underperforming employee, needing handholding even through conflict resolution as "adults." Yet, HR and leadership did nothing to support the implementation of improvement plans to force them out or straighten them up. They put talented and responsible employees under hostile scrutiny due to these employee's complaints as well. It's embarrassing to see senior and top talent forced out over perceived and warped slights by two-faced colleagues. Worse, CTO Tim Nustad has a horrible reputation for being a weak leader, expecting his direct reports to fight his battles for him with the team in India and making damaging product road map decisions for the company. When his input or influence is badly needed, he'll promise to act and then blow it off entirely...or better yet, he'll pout through entire technical review because of his constant bickering with other senior leadership. Just go Tim.

Pros

Remote work. The company instituted a mandatory in-office rule in their Chicago office and attendance actually went down.

Cons

This is a terrible company. They will float that their AI work as an example of being innovative, but it’s a stale company. Most people have been there for over 20 years and are unfriendly to new hires. The DEI work is a scam, as the leader has been there for two years and has no policy. Yet she makes over $300,000 plus bonus! They have no ESG policy or a healthy equity policy despite saying so. They routinely lie about that too. The ESG leader is not competent and spouts the corporate line. The CEO also has no vision. Nor are they friendly to veterans or minorities either. My wife was ill in the hospital and they asked me to still work. Culture is non-existent and on-boarding is a joke. Stay away for those who want to work for a competent company with a good culture that promotes innovation and inclusiveness.

Pros

You can work from home; honestly the only positive.

Cons

Interview, and get told you will work w/ people in your time zone 100% of time. Start, find out everyone you will work with is in India and France and your work day will always start at 4 AM local time. Quality of deliverables is terrible. No one seems to care. Roles are so narrowly defined there is no learning. Very clear you are just a number.
