You get the office all to yourself since nobody else shows up. Free use of dirty kitchen and refrigerator. I'll most likely have off for the holidays because I will likely be fired soon.
Cons
Top ten reasons why GalaxE is a terrible place: 10) No communication from management. Staff has no idea what the company is doing or where it is going apart from a once a year “Town Hall” where management pats themselves on the back and says how great things are without any specifics. 9) Constant firing and layoffs make the environment seem like a ghost town rather than a successful workplace. 8) House of Lies – This company constantly lies to its customers, lies to its employees, and lies to itself. Consistently lies about company capabilities, expertise and manpower. Consistently lies about employee bonuses that they then never pay. 7) Utterly incompetent and arrogant executive management that probably would never have been promoted above supervisor at McDonald’s. Lack any clear vision for the company identity or where it is going in the future (other than down) 6) Instead of bringing more people to the US from other countries, they should be hiring more people in Detroit like they promised. 5) Human Resources department accomplishes nothing apart from writing fake positive reviews on Glassdoor. Rest assured that any positive review of this company was written by HR at the direction of management. 4) Complete chaos – sends consultants to clients without any direction or plan making us look completely incompetent 3) Only believes in Work/Work balance – expects all employees to be available and on call 24/7 and punishes people for taking their allotted time off. Sweat shop mentality. 2) Did I mention House of Lies – Executive management always overpromises and under delivers 99% of the time and then tries to cover it up with the customers and to the rest of the company. 1) Always understaffed. Keep cutting more people except Executive Management and making everyone left take on inhuman workloads.
