Pros

Benefits are great. Pay is lower than other similar contractors. Culture and values are great, but they do not follow them for everyone. Only when it gets you to work more hours.

Cons

Management are con men in every aspect. They will promise you the world to draw you in. Work you long hours and keep pushing the esop prize to keep you working those hours. No family time with this company. Work work and more work. When they get what they need from you, you are dropped like a hot rock and they are on to the next sucker. Beware. You have been warned. Just read the other reviews on this site and every other site I have checked. I wish I would have read these before signing on with Garney.

Pros

Friendly co-workers Employee stock ownership program

Cons

Terrible interview process. Garney jerks you around making you have to 4-5 interviews which take in excess of an hour each. Garney makes a lot of promises such as the location they tell you that you'll be placed in, per diem promises and other benefits, but those all become non-existent when you become employed. This company expects it's people to work 12-13 hours a day 6-7 days a week for a very sub-par salary. This is the only company I've ever worked for that doesn't pay per diem to travel.

Pros

Great benefits, but you probably won't enjoy them since you'll be fired before you can enjoy them!

Cons

Listen here, I'm not here to bash Garney. I'm just here to say that if you believe you are a person who works very hard and you are desperate for a job, don't apply here. Hard working people deserve a chance to prove themselves, not get tossed aside like garbage.
