Pros

- Decent health and dental benefits - On-site gym, cafeteria with daily free lunch that is decent - Perks like baby bonus, EV subsidy program, workation program

Cons

- Salaries are mid compared to similar roles in the industry - Stingy on PTO - Aimless and haphazard "AI-first" strategy - Leadership clearly taking a page from Silicon Valley with mandated RTO (probably hoping some will leave so they don't need to lay off as many in the coming months to cover the AI bill) - Good people are already leaving. Turnover is increasing. - Looks like a desperate attempt to maintain top spot in the industry. But they're doing all the wrong things.

Pros

The office space is well-maintained and comfortable, and the benefits package — including health insurance — is solid. Free lunch and snacks are genuinely good, with a wide variety of options. Company policies and HR standards are reasonably well-structured and comparable to larger tech companies. The CEO comes across as straightforward and appears to genuinely care about the organization.

Cons

The main office is located in an inconvenient area, yet most employees are expected to work from that location regularly. Compensation is noticeably below market rate, which makes it difficult to retain strong talent. High turnover among skilled engineers is a recurring pattern. The day-to-day work environment can be draining due to an overly critical culture and a lack of trust in employees’ judgment. The codebase and overall software architecture suffer from significant technical debt. Senior engineers tend to be resistant to outside input, which makes collaboration and modernization efforts difficult. Decision-making is slow and heavily process-driven. There are too many layers of approval for things that should move quickly in a tech environment.
