Pros

Pay is good and product is for Social Good

Cons

There is little hope that our stock options will have value soon. Leadership often prioritized alignment over independent judgment, and despite major hires and restructuring, the company has struggled to deliver products with meaningful impact or market traction. Feedback largely flowed top-down, with dissent poorly received and limited room to challenge decisions. While some leaders projected openness, there was often a noticeable gap between image and reality, with culture seeming more focused on hierarchy and appearances than execution and results.

Pros

Fair pay, great culture amongst the team. I feel more valued here than I have in any other role. Direct management is stellar. Everyone feels like they carry their load and are a great pick for the work, meaning that working across teams is a good time. The tech stack we use is helpful and diversified. The C-Suite cares a lot about its employees at a high level and wants to want what's best for them. Yes, I typed that correctly - they want to care and a lot of time succeed, but sometimes miss.

Cons

Sometimes it feels like people in the trenches (people actually nonprofit customer facing) are not taken seriously when our feedback is given. We get a very "we know what's best" vibe when we try to communicate it, and when anything goes south as a reply, it doesn't fix the focus-issues.
