      Pros

      There are some nice people at Graphcore. The work can be interesting and it feels like the company could make a difference.

      Cons

      Lots of developer time wasted to get sales that never come. Office politics is becoming a way of life for some teams.

      Challenging but extremely interesting

      Pros

      There is a lot to design and build. Interesting problem space, working on both AI and parallelism. Strong information-sharing culture with a lot of internal presentations, discussions and learning events. An excellent benefits package with unlimited holidays, flexible working hours and remote working. You are generally treated as an adult and allowed to manage your own time. Nice offices and facilities.

      Cons

      Clearly a start-up company with a very fast pace and lots of change. The company is not afraid to tear-up plans and start again. This can be jarring if you come from an established company that is slow to abandon WIP Very flat hierarchy
