Pros

All these 5 star reviews are fake

Cons

Crunch, low-pay, promises of one role and then after your 3 months they pivot you completely. Avoid at all costs.

Pros

Some independence, and supportive factors - all these 5 star reviews are absolutely fake.

Cons

False promises during the interview process. The GROW team intentionally keeps their names and titles incomplete or vague so no one is held accountable or reachable. They classify you as an independent contractor so if you are in California you WILL be misclassified. You will need to take legal action for tax purposes. This company engages in unethical practices and favors some therapists while forcing others out. ZERO benefits whatsoever. Another churn and burn company that will not be around long. No diversity and they only onboard the easy apps and discard other applicants.

Pros

Coworkers are thoughtful and kind, the company is profitable, and the mission is meaningful. The benefits are also really good. This has been a pretty great place to work for a lot of its tenure, and probably still is as long as you don’t happen to voice any disagreement or discontent.

Cons

Unfortunately, gaps in the skills of leadership and managers that were always present, but didn’t feel like big deals at a smaller size are really starting to show as the company grows. Leadership is disorganized and struggles with communication. Projects are subject to a lot of thrash and deadline driven to no purpose, and people are moved teams or teams are dissolved with no warning. Additionally, leadership’s avoidance of hard conversations and punitive response to feedback makes it hard to improve things. Conversations that could’ve been handled with nuance and grace have become quite toxic recently, and when I look back, there was always a pattern of abrupt firings or ‘quitting’ that felt like leadership was attempting to sweep them under the rug.
