Pros

Modern, luxurious offices in a good location; clean spaces; snacks and beverages in the kitchen; relatively good salary and benefits for Greek standards; and good training materials.

Cons

The targets are unrealistic and largely luck-based. You're expected to work unpaid overtime every day, which doesn’t guarantee better performance. You constantly work under pressure, and if you don't meet and exceed targets, you're fired. It's a work environment characterized by fear and insecurity - employees are motivated through insults, threats, and micromanagement. Project managers are very inexperienced; most have been with the company for 3-5 years and have never worked anywhere else. They can be mean, cross boundaries, and be downright abusive. Associates are pitted against each other; there's a culture of antagonism and competition, strong favoritism, and cliques. The job is simultaneously incredibly monotonous and boring but also extremely stressful. There are no skills to be acquired besides LinkedIn Recruiter. You literally send links on LinkedIn to people all day with zero career development opportunities. All day, you copy and paste stuff and “chase” people on the phone to get them to agree to register with the network, which I personally found emotionally draining. It's essentially a call center/telemarketing job. Guidepoint engages in deliberate “burn and churn” practices and doesn't care about its reputation. Please do yourself the favor and stay away from this company.

Pros

Young team to talk to at least, some flexibility, willing to teach you the skills like time management, recruitment, and basic things under pressure.

Cons

Absolute garbage skills long term and tech stack, outdated expert network company. You never talk to a client at all you read a blurb in an outdated CRM, and talk to multiple project managers to learn about the client. So its not dealing with people to recruit, its praying that your client gets back to your project manager or cares about the project/rate the advisors are asking for. These idiots dont even have autodialers so expect you to be manually going in to call. They now have designated days they want you to work from office which kills the flexibility, and the job is meant for the project managers with associates fighting for scraps for their numbers since they dont care about anything except one number. The companies performance is not good right now, so they will squeeze all they can out of you. So use this job as only a stepping stone into another job thats worth it, you can learn everything in like 2-3 months. Such a garbage company I know the economy is bad but only take this as a last resort or if you have another plan in place for another job. Miserable job, miserable place. Maybe your team is good and mature so that helps but DO NOT pour yourself into this job its just not a good environment for genuinely talented people, its meant to drain you of everything for cheap clients that have their own issues you have no control over. So two bottlenecks - your experts which you communicate with based off of what a client says you never speak to based off what your project manager negotiates. Such a garbage job.
