Positive culture and flexibility overshadowed by poor contractor treatment

Great work culture ,flexibility. Teams are good and organised. Friendly people .

Cons

The minute they see contractors everything else becomes vague and useless and they hire perm UK employees in large chunks..they think they save money by compromising quality . This they did by laying off entire teams without offering to train them. Lots of brainless people seated on top level management only because they knew sugar coating the right people retains their roles.

Pros

Interview process was quick and I was kept informed of my status / progress throughout each stage. The team were very welcoming and my onboarding was smooth. As the company moves at a quick pace, I was thrown straight into my roles and responsibilities which helped me learn quickly, and I was supported along the way with any questions I had being answered no matter how big or small.

Cons

I would have benefitted from some additional training on their systems and processes, and being better connected with other departments and made clear what each department's role is would have eliminated questions later down the line about correct people to contact for certain tasks.
