Pros

There were rushes and lulls. Nothing too extreme in the workload. If you could make all of your calls at the top of your shift you stood a good chance of coasting the last half of your shift and only needing to answer calls/questions. You got to learn a lot about taxes and how to properly direct clients if the tax pros were busy.

Cons

The Tax Pros depend (!!!) on the amount of clients they take per tax season, their bonuses at the end of the tax season reflected how many clients they saw/completed. They do not like the idea that you may want to jeopardize that number for them, They tend to take it personally when they lose a client and you can be the first blamed for the loss. BC of the high turnover for Client Service Coordinator (receptionist) I can't guarantee that they'll be nice to you at first. Trust issues, maybe?
