Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and feedback with us. There are a handful of points you made that we can learn from as it pertains to communication, standardized operating procedures, training, and programming. It is very clear that your experience did not reflect what we aim for at the local, regional, and national levels within InBloom and this feedback has been shared with and reviewed by individuals at all levels mentioned. We do take feedback like this seriously and will look for opportunities to improve. There are a few things you mentioned that we feel compelled to clarify from our perspective. We do have a nap room where kiddos are allowed to rest and on their own if appropriate, which is monitored by a nanny-cam while they’re resting. This is clinically appropriate and is understood/reviewed by the caregivers of our clients. Additionally we do not have locks on any treatment or nap rooms within any of our Learning Centers, and doors are only ever closed when there is a chance of elopement during therapy sessions. It is important that we share these items due to our clinical integrity policies, and our adherence to the BACB ethics code. Additionally, since day 1, we have been following CDC guidelines as well as local guidelines as it pertains to COVID-19. That includes contact tracing. We believe this is the right standard, and we will continue to follow CDC guidelines as they evolve throughout the COVID-19 pandemic in order to keep all of our clients and clinicians healthy/safe. If you experienced anything outside of CDC guidelines during your time at InBloom then that is not the norm and we would encourage you to share more details about your experience so we can ensure proper CDC guidelines are being followed at the local level moving forward. You can submit additional feedback at inbloomautism.com/feedback if you wish to do so.

Thank you for your honest and thorough feedback. We’re happy to hear that you felt your fellow clinical staff was amazing, our pay rates are fair, and our Learning Center was a great place to provide therapy. We’re disappointed to hear that you had frustrating experiences with the HR and Operations staff, including not feeling comfortable expressing frustrations or concerns. We hope you were aware of the feedback portal on our website. We created this so feedback could be shared in detail, and anonymously if preferred, and have it go directly to the top 2 leaders of our organization. We always realize there are opportunities to get better at all levels, so we are encouraging you to visit the feedback portal and express your concerns in a way that we can open up a dialogue and take action to support your concerns from the top down. You can do so at inbloomautism.com/feedback. Thank you again and we hope to improve your situation as soon as possible.

Pros

-You definitely identify what a horrible company. This company teaches you to respect your worth and LEAVE.

Cons

There are so many cons, I wouldn’t know where to begin. To set the tone, not a single BCBA, not ONE, that I started with has stayed. Considering we had 4-5 BCBA’s, that is saying a lot. One BCBA left within a month or so from getting hired on. There are serious issues with the leadership team here. The motto of this location is “lie and sweep it under the rug”. Lie to people by telling them their issues or concerns will be taken care of. Sweep every single issue under the rug. These parents are trusting us to give adequate therapy, however, the quality of services being delivered are atrocious. There is not nearly enough training or mentorship going on in order to bring out great therapists. The RBTs are overworked and under rewarded. The schedules they provide to the RBTs are unreasonable. Leadership wouldn’t know what work life balance is if it hit them in the face. The leadership team is beyond unprofessional and unethical. The leadership team encourages dual relationships. Their lack of leadership and direction is why this location will continue to sink. It’s pathetic (and unethical) to see what the standard here is. The standard is to ensure that the kiddos are alive and that’s it. They don’t provide therapy here. I would not trust my kid to go to this place. I would be concerned about their well being here. This place will not last long, because all their wrong doings and unethical choices will come back to bite them.

We appreciate you taking the time to give us your open feedback. It’s very clear that your experience with us was nowhere near what we strive for at the local, or national level at InBloom. Everything you’ve mentioned in your review has been reviewed by multiple layers of the organization. We take this feedback very seriously and want you to know that improvements will be made. We have recently made leadership changes on both the clinical and operational levels, as well as implemented new processes to ensure that RBTs and BCBAs are getting the training and support they need to have a positive and productive working experience. The health, wellness, and safety of our clients is always at the forefront of what we do and we will continue to make sure that is being tracked and maintained at all levels. If you have any additional or more specific feedback you would like to share regarding your experience you can do so at inbloomautism.com/feedback. Thank you.
