Pros

There are a handful of tenured leaders and associates who care ..

Cons

Employee engagement and morale is as low as the distrust in leadership. This company has been unable to successfully drive team collaboration and deliver effective results as an organization in over twenty four months. The promise of a turnaround in the near future is on the wing of a prayer following another restructuring announcement.. change fatigue is prevalent and the confidence in new leaders is non existent. Do not bother considering IDT as a potential employer if you have any career ambition or desire to grow long term with a company. There is zero work life balance and care or consideration for their associates. While they just removed the sales commission program making it nearly impossible to sell crushing the sales team after yes, you got it, another restructure. The management that sanctions this insanity which is supported by the inexperienced HR leader is harming the business.

Pros

Decent wage, good benefits, room to move around and up within the company if you’re willing.

Cons

The business has taken such a turn with recent changes in management and leadership that many older associates are jumping ship. This is creating a training gap we knew was coming for more than a year. Management wouldn't ever listen or hire more associates. Always looking to juice the numbers for the shareholders to the detriment of the workers. Everybody running ragged while we’re short staffed until we would get new people trained. When it was obvious help wasn’t on the way, people started leaving. Now management is surprised we’re missing metrics. They're surprised people are upset. They're surprised their new changeup in the labs (decided upon by a consultancy firm that knows nothing about the science) isn't working. Management doesn't listen to the people in the labs, continuing to roll out changes nobody agrees with and knows will hurt the business. They’ve started hiring new people, only far too late. Rudderless ship, inept management, poor planning, etc. Decent wage becoming not worth it for many of the stressed out employees.
