Pros

-Flexible WFH policy if you are aggressive about it -15 vacation days + 5 sick days -Constant fixation on boozing everybody up because everybody hates their job and everyone around them

Cons

-middle management doesn't know how to lead: they set out terrible examples of how to manage projects/people by gossiping about direct reports/clients. Morale very low because lack of support. -Depending on your project lead, reporting/processes are archaic. There is no room for real thinking. You are a cog in the machine checking numbers/link testing. -Hard work is rewarded with more work, not actual recognition -Promotions are based on length of stay at company, not merit -"Merit raises" are really just cost of living adjustments -Bonuses are pitiful -Politics is everything here. Everybody will talk about how everyone is a team and willing to lend a hand when things get crazy, but in reality, its a dog eat dog world here. There is no team here. -Work life balance is not a thing depending on your manager. Some demand you to work 70+ hour weeks, playing the "client-first" card -Literally EVERYBODY is ALWAYS looking for another job because they feel like they are either working under an idiot project lead OR they are overwhelmed by an overload of projects. There is no support system built in to help struggling workers, because the environment is so political. -HR is a joke. Any type of "benefit" that comes from working in a big company, like transferring to other locations is almost impossible. Reviews that could be helpful are a joke because HR can't even keep track of what new HR initiative their pushing out.

Pros

The content of the work is rewarding and will keep you there, working on interesting research. You get to work on some projects that really feel like they matter, especially some of the healthcare work.

Cons

Toxic doesn't even begin to describe this place. From some of the coworkers, and ESPECIALLY management. They reward employees who are bullies and make others lives hell, and ignore the multitude of voices from employees who are quality employees in lieu of toxic management / behavior. The employees are never listened to and are severely underpaid below market value, and the bonuses are laughable. Any advice employees try to give are often ignored and the company continues a streak of profit that employees who are overworked never see. You will work long hours (it is looked down upon as not trying hard enough if you're not working 60+ hour weeks), deal with bully behavior from management which is never addressed or punished (it is rewarded), and take on more responsibility for your role without seeing any time of promotion or reward unless you are favored from upper management. There is also a level of racism here where POC are overlooked for years on promotion opportunities for new young white counterparts, and paid less in some cases. People have been, and are currently leaving this place in droves, and once you leave, the response is always the same, every single time - "I am SO much happier that I left, I didn't realize how terrible it really was until I left". There is no respect for employees, and people are worked to the bone, under paid, and overall the organization is leaky and not optimal. You will wait years for either a raise, promotion, or bonus- take on 2-3 times the workload and responsibilities, and still- it will never come. This place is a top heavy pyramid ready to crash. They will continue to lose quality, effective, and skilled workers who leave for better opportunities elsewhere if they don't change their strategy and start focusing on promoting healthy company culture and remove toxic people, especially from their leadership and management roles. Do yourself a favor and don't get caught in the trap of starting here, because it can be hard to leave.

Pros

Benefit are OK and you can make friends while working because everyone is always at work and not at their homes.

Cons

I worked directly with Lauren DeMar and it was horrible. She does not care for your well being nor cares for you as a person. She only shows lack of respect and never gives you a "good job" even while seeing you have put in the hard work. Do not expect to be congratulated or a good pact on your back while working at this company, they will DRAIN YOU from your energy. It is like they enjoy sucking the life out of you. I have no idea how this company is still around while they work their employees as slaves and disrespect them. Not only do the disrespect you as human but also make sure to know how they view your worth. Expect to work a GAZILLION hours a day, no sleep and to kiss their butts because that is what they love, they love knowing they have the upper hand and they love dehumanizing their employees. OH and be prepared to work with old computers and horrible service.

We're sorry things didn't work out. As you know, the job of executive assistant requires good rapport and a smooth relationship between the executive and the assistant. When the fit isn't there, it's better to end the relationship. We wish you all the best.
