      House of Cards... stay away if you are considering joining Jabil

      Pros

      Inexperienced senior management will help you in getting promoted faster than any other company in the area. Lots of departures will open up new internal opportunities for those who can survive.

      Cons

      Company is now too big for their own good, as the culture of years ago is dissapearing quickly. Former maids and nannies to executives are in positions of power and are well connected. Tread lightly when having an opposing view in a meeting. Ineffective and crumbling IT department, lots of unpaid overtime fixing errors with outdated systems and under staffed groups. Did not make the Tampa Bay's Top 100 Workplaces list for 2015.

      Pros

      Strong Operations team, experienced senior management team, company is a leader in its industry.

      Cons

      Highly political. C level and VPs are tight knit, glass ceiling on anyone else. Lower levels are viewed as marginalized robots. Long work hours and 24 hour availability is a baseline expectation.

      Pros

      Decent health benefits. OK employee stock purchase plan. Nice people to work with. If you're an officer you get paid, other than that you are a slave to your manager.

      Cons

      Working at the corp hq is so depressing. Animals in pet shelters have better accomodations. I look forward to leaving everyday. Jabil is a human trafficker of cheap labor in China, Europe, South America and Mexico. No career path, unless you can play favors for your boss. Lots of directors and VPs must have a lot of dirt on each other to be in the positions they are in --- wouldn't be in those positions at any other company.
