Pros

Very smart, talented and hardworking employees that give their best everyday.

Cons

A few months ago during a company-wide meeting, the company president said that he valued and wanted to retain the talent at Jet Aviation and that bonuses and pay raises would be greater than the previous year. After this year's performance reviews, it turns out that that was all lies. Not only did everyone receive less this year than last year, some received no bonuses or raises. There is no incentive for anyone at the company to stay. Management likes to talk up the priorities: safety, performance and growth. The only priority is the growth, money growth that is. Fixing all of the safety hazards will never happen unless someone drops a dime to OSHA.

Pros

Decent pay, that's about it..

Cons

A constant "sell" and make deals happen culture with a 20 year old business model that doesn't translate in today's market. Jet operates under the idea and message that they're better than the competition without offering any tangible backup to that claim. They believe people will come to them regardless of their offering and higher prices. They bring in new people with new ideas to help the company grow into today's market but management are absolutely reluctant to adopt or implement any new ideas or changes. You can't expect change if you're unwilling to make change. Communication is horrible, very competitive internal culture in which people work against each other more so than together. I have many years working in Fortune 50 companies and this was the worst company culture I've ever experienced. I would not recommend.

Safety on the down slide

Pros

For the most part management leaves you alone.

Cons

Safety culture is driven by schedulers always saying yes. They don’t adhere to their own SMS policies. Benefits are far below airline wages/401k matching. Management doesn’t want the best workers, only people who won’t ask questions so they can milk the client for more “pass through” expenses.
