Joe V's has a very strict 9 point attendance system. Tardies and leaving early without having someone to cover your hours will result in receiving a half a point. Calling in without having someone cover your shift will result in a full point and termination at 9 points within a year. The points will not be excused even if you had a emergency and brought a doctor's note to work. Most of the cashiers are scheduled only between 18-26 hours a week but can pick up extra shifts from coworkers with management approval. In order to qualify for benefits you have to work 1500 hours within a year and for this reason part-timers are only scheduled 18 to 26 hours weekly.

They don't move you up, you will ask for more hours but they won't give you more hours. Management doesn't really care they are lazy, or hide out in the office all day. They will over work you and expect you to finish what the "TEAM" didn't finish. Which doesn't make since they are there from 4:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Management has their favorites and forget about calling (HR) that's a joke it's self because nothing is ever resolved.
