Be Afraid...be VERY afraid

Pros

Bleeding edge technology...free lunches delivered daily...fun atmosphere (bring your nerf gun)...games on site (both on the Ping-Pong table and in your head!).

Cons

If you're over 28 walk towards the door...over 30 trot...over 35 RUN! This is a death march of epic proportions with totally unrealistic expectations from upper management. 15 hour days are the norm...20 hours is not unexpected, or rather I should say it IS expected. Management plays HUGE favorites and one day you're a super star the next you're out the door. Can be a fun place day to day, but it wears on you over time...and not a LOT of time either.

Toxic culture

Pros

Plenty of startup-y benefits. Great location. Free food.

Cons

Absolutely toxic culture. Requires nonstop nights and weekends. There's a big focus on scrambling to close the next partner deal without any actual thought about what they're doing or why. No room for advancement. Politics galore. Voice an honest opinion within the scope of your job? You and your team could be cut loose without any notice, warning, or questions.

Kabbage Response

We appreciate you writing a review. We are proud of and humbled by our team members’ hard work and commitment in everything they do as it has been instrumental to our success. As we continue to scale aggressively, many of our roles evolve and embracing such changes and opportunity with a positive attitude results in amazing career growth. While we do work an occasional night or weekend, we are not working “nonstop” nights and weekends. Unfortunately, not everyone is able to grow at and keep up with our pace. However, through our commitment to Learning and Development initiatives, we have quite a few internal trainings and classes that we offer to support and encourage our team members to advance in their careers. We are strongly committed to our people, both current and alumni, so we wish you the very best!
