      Amazing Work Life Balance GREAT Company

      If you are looking for an amazing work life balance with great pay and excellent benefits, Kranz & Associates is defiantly for you! As a full time employee any hours worked over 40 a week gets counted towards your productivity bonus, PTO is graciously given, and health/dental/cell phones benefits are also offered. I have been at Kranz & Associates for over 5 years and have seen the company grow from 20 employee to now almost 80 employees. The growth is due to the quality of work life balance that Kranz & Associates offers. The typical 8hrs a day at an office is not the case here. As an Accounting Manager, I work with various clients at their offices and am able to set my schedule. Setting my own schedule allows for me to maintain a great work life balance and also exceed my clients expectations. I would HIGHLY recommend Kranz & Associates to any person!

      Pros

      Flexibly friendships networking. There is not much else good about this company. Once you get on the blacklist they take away flexibility and require you to work where they can literally keep an eye on you.

      Cons

      Worst place to work for in bay area. Management sucks, treats people like garbage and penny pinches expense reports. If you are mediocre you will last because they will pick on you and you will take it. If you stand up for yourself you get "transitioned" off the client. They have the highest turnover in the industry and its not hard to see why. I've even seen them horribly treat client staff accountants but suck up to management. Do not work for kranz!

      Pros

      A great company! No busy tax season to endure. As a part-time law student, I was able to maintain a good work-school balance. The breath of clientele Kranz has makes the accounting work so interesting! I find myself learning constantly. The management team is very supportive.

      Cons

      If you are afraid of challenge, then this company is not for you.
