Pros

Most regular guests and employees make it more family and friend oriented. The hot doughnuts make it a unique experience for first timers and out of towners. Indeed adds to the nostalgia of the business.

Cons

Nearly half the guests are rude and disrespectful and have wild expectations. The daily grind with regard to distribution and fundraising make it difficult to focus on cultivation of training staff and how to handle the many rude and disrespectful customers that want service Right Now. Heard "I Want" and "Give Me" so often I began to question a great many things with regard to retail service and setting expectations for guests.

Pros

I started as a manager in training. I traveled to 2 different States. For a 6 months to train to be an assistant manager. It was fun learning different aspects of the job and traveling. The pay was out standing.

Cons

Krispy Kreme locations do not train the same. I was trained more on making donuts then actual manager training. Once I became an assistant manager I was sent to University Store in Winston Salem. I had no life the Gm there ruined my career. He set me up to fail when I went to HR I was fired 3 Months later.

Pros

Who doesn't love doughnuts? It really is fun to share the joy of Krispy Kreme. Great benefits and wellness programs.

Cons

Inconsistent application of company policies on conduct, scheduling, work output and job advancement. I don't know many employees who are doing the work they interviewed for or is on their job description. Favoritism and elitism may be the reason for huge turnover in Supply Chain, Finance and Training departments.
