Great work environment, super helpful peers who don’t treat you as a cog in the machine

Work can be repetitive and monotonous at times

Pros

Management is very easy to work with and allow for a flexible work schedule. Lots of travel is involved often to quite unique places

Cons

Not a whole lot of engineering gets done. A lot of report writing and assessments

Nice people good pay. Lots of travel

Cons

A lot of the work done is not typical structural engineering and often times you get stuck writing reports all week. You'll even write reports for jobs that you were never involved with. If you're looking to grow purely as a structural engineer this position might not be for you
