Pros

Good benefits (not salary) matched with general market offering

Cons

*Management- I haven't spoken to mine since Dec (10 months) *Salaries- I received 2% salary increase, which does not match the market value or COLA, although company keeps reporting profits. *Once you have a project assigned, if your contracting manager does not complain you are a ghost for Mindtree. You talk to no-one, not even for performance reviews. The only thing you contact them for is mandatory trainings and vacations. *The board is all built of Indian males. Not one female on it. *The whole company culture is Indian. Most trainings are with Indian accent and much of the meetings are on Indian time. They have not established themselves for US market. *But if all you want is salary to come to your bank account and not be bothered then this is it. * Once your project is finalized you are 100% responsible for digging through open positions and apply to all. There is no internal referral at all. Nobody helps you- sink or swim.

Pros

"Pays" more than most jobs with similar responsibilities. Job is easy.

Cons

Have to fight with management every week to get my checks fixed (They payout the incorrect amount). I opted out of their health insurance, and only found out that they had been secretly taking money from my checks as if I was enrolled in it when I filed for my taxes. I have paid for over a year of health insurance and never received any benefits, nor a benefits card. Will lock you out of time sheet if you do not complete certain "activities" for them outside of normal workings hours. Has tried to ask/force me to join a group conference call and show my drivers license/ social security card to "HR". Took ~6-7 months to get them to pay me out the correct amount for what I signed a contract for. They tried changing the contract after I had signed it, but luckily I had kept a copy and was able to fight them on it. They tried rewriting my contract so I wouldn't receive a differential for my shift, over time, and tried cutting my pay by 4$ an hour. They only started paying me the correct amount after threatening to sue, and contacting DOL/BOLI/BBB. Recruiter from LTIMindTree tried forcing me to give him a copy of my Social Security while applying for this position. On several occasions they've sent out mass company emails with everyone at LTI cc'ed to it while the email has sensitive information. (Medical docs, tax docs, paychecks, etc). Based out of India, impossible to properly converse with "managers".

Pros

I did not experience any pros.

Cons

As a consultant, you are expected to take on the duties of the project manager, HR, business development, and sales professionals, recruiters while fulfilling your role as a SME for the client. There is no support for consultants, and the outdated tech that the company uses means that you could be without access for more than a week while chasing down tech support (overseas).
