Pros

None I could think of

Cons

I thought I was being hired as a Outside sales rep. That was what came in the Welcome letter. The salary was pitiful 31K, but thought I could make it up in commissions. What a s-- show this place was for me. I find out I have to report to the office everyday at 8:30 fpr a daily huddle? Then I was allowed to go make a few sales calls and then go back to the office and stay till 5? The job should have been titled inside sales rep and I should have been told in the interview this was the deal. I was not. As an outside rep for 20 years, the thought of the office thing was ridiculous. Then, no laptop or tablet to log your sales calls, WTF? The other 2 reps literally spent 90% of their time in the office laughing and cutting up.I also got written up for leaving 15 minutes early as I did not take a lunch and assumed this would be okay. Micromanage !! I lasted 4 days, had to resign. Really disappointed that I wasted my time. Also, was told there is a guaranteed commissions for 3 months, wasn't even going to receive this till February!

Pros

Lincare is a steady, but slightly under-payed, paycheck until Medicare is inevitably reformed. When that day comes, the company will likely go in to crisis mode, and I will be sure to leave long before that happens. DO NOT make this company a career. If you need something to hold you over until you find your next job, then apply. Otherwise, keep walking.

Cons

It only takes a few months working in the corporate office to realize how shady and cheap this company is. Emails are deleted after 30 days, call centers do not record conversations with PT/customers, and I receive way too many calls about PT's medicare insurance being billed for items they never asked for for it to be just an "accidental error". For the young/uninformed, billing an insurance for medical supplies that one never asked for or received is called insurance fraud, and is definitely a felony. It's only a matter of time before this company sinks and/or becomes volatile, either through losing its medicare funding, or through the inevitable reform in medicare in the coming years.

Pros

🤔 It's really hard to say, the fact that you have a job is a pro, however you do not want this one. Wait, wait for a better offer and place value on yourself because I can promise you Lincare never will.

Cons

Horrible morale, always chasing your commission, management places no value on work/life balance or employer/employee relationship. They operate in a "crisis mode" and everything is an emergency and "all hands on deck" constantly! Also, if you are in sales you are guaranteed to never see most of your commissions. Terrible, just terrible.
