Great People, Disappointing Leadership Direction

Pros

Exceptional colleagues: The technical talent and dedication of the people here is truly impressive. I work alongside some of the brightest minds in aerospace and defense Meaningful work: Contributing to national security and cutting-edge technology provides genuine purpose Job security: Stable employment Learning opportunities: Exposure to complex, challenging projects across multiple domains

Cons

Leadership has lost sight of core values: Upper management increasingly prioritizes quarterly earnings over the workforce that built this company’s reputation People strategy neglected: What used to be a company that genuinely cared about employee development and retention now feels like decisions are made purely through a financial lens Talent exodus: Watching good people leave because they don’t feel valued anymore Short-term thinking: Focus on stock performance is undermining long-term innovation and employee investment Communication gap: Leadership feels increasingly disconnected from the day-to-day reality of the workforce

Pros

401K, 4-Day Workweek, and that’s about it.

Cons

The management (L6 and L7) in the quality department is horrendous, I mean the worst you’ve ever experienced. They lack morals and ethics and it shows, they encourage mischarging on govt contracts and when presented with it, sweep it under the rug, right along with the SA situations and term usage. For management, fireable offenses or problems are “coachable moments”, for anyone else, you’re cooked. The upper management is only focused on moving up, even though they cannot competently perform their own duties, this seems to be a common thing. Any attempt at improving processes is met with resistance and accusations of trying to cause dissonance. People refuse to develop spines and that’s because they will be targeted or retaliated against, even though there’s a zero tolerance policy. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy, my exposure is that of Watertown campus quality dept, no amount of money would ever be worth putting myself through that again. If you’ve made it this far and you’re considering, run. If you see someone in your org chart above you with the initials RH or AD… expect incompetency as the new norm.

Pros

- Weekly pay every Friday - Consistent Work; always busy. - willingness to teach younger employees

Cons

- Rarely get promoted - Salary is average compared to industry peers... Room for improvement. - I feel like upper management (VP and up level) do not care how overworked employees are. Rather you put your head down and get the work done versus voicing your opinion.

Pros

I have worked many companies in this industry, and from pure observation, this company exceeds expectations on all levels. As they implement new processes for improving business operations and communication I see real potential working here.

Cons

Depending on who is your upper management if they have your back or not is the game “make or breaker” for many.
