Pros

An internship for undergraduate student is the base of her career and i believe my experience and skills would be better with these highly knowledgeable companies. And i think I would be good choice for start up.

Cons

I believe this company would be the mirror of outside world to me.

Pros

Smart passionate people at LUNAR. Amaxing designers and feels like a family

Cons

After the acquisition by McKinsey and Company, LUNAR just doesn't feel the same. Since everyone is traveling, the studio is very empty M-Th. If you like travel, McKinsey had great perks. McKinsey doesn't get design and aren't willing to change or adapt.

Pros

Amazing people. Great energy. A project manager for every project means well planned timelines and budgets. Plenty of in-house resources including 3D printers, workshop, workspace, access to engineering, strategy thinkers etc. Range of projects. Great physical space.

Cons

Times are changing. Projects are leaning more toward infrastructure and industrial level problem solving, strategy and design thinking rather than aesthetic design or consumer facing solutions since McKinsey purchased Lunar. McKinsey HR and internal management systems are sluggish at best and a bit oppressive to the creative Lunar culture.
