Pros

You do get to work on something that's never existed.

Cons

Indecisive but controlling management. So much politics. No clear direction. Misleading employees.

Pros

Cool tech, some smart people

Cons

Company does not value its employees. It is expected that you are supposed to run yourself into the ground in terms of working nights, weekends, etc - but without a moment of recognition or reward. Stingy stock grants when you first get hired and no way to get additional once you've joined. Leadership is an absolute clown show. There is no trust or transparency whatsoever. Basic things like operational plans and sales numbers are hidden from employees, so there's no way to feel like you're part of a win. CEO only cares about flashy shiny things but there is no recognition for the people that kill themselves doing the hard labor (engineers, cloud, product, etc). The rest of leadership is a bunch of "yesmen". Diversity is terrible. Bullies run the place and allowed to get away with it.
