Pros

They have one good lead source. “Unlimited PTO.” Busy call volume and you’re expected to be on the phone 7/8 hours in the day but that is also because they don’t want to hire more employees.

Cons

Employees are regularly quitting or getting fired, they’ll mention being terminated in the initial phone interview and remind you often. Not worth the headache vs the pay. If you’re selling at the top 5% of the company you will make great money but otherwise the commission schedule doesn’t make sense. They are only focused on taking the company public with a fake it until you make it attitude. The non-tenured sales managers are not that helpful and a bit corny. You will be micromanaged more than any other previous job. Agents will steal your leads without any hesitation and they tend to show favoritism to the agents in their Columbus office or if you are in that top 5%. Nothing really special to what they are doing, basically just a larger scale insurance broker.

Pros

Unlimited PTO that will probably be taken away soon.

Cons

Management is terrible with hypocritical leadership styles. Base pay is horrible. They’re running out of quality leads so everyone is making less money if they make a bonus at all. They only care about sales rather than servicing the existing customers. You will see someone crying at work every day. Most employees are looking for employment elsewhere. Job itself is extremely draining which is compounded by management always having a problem with performance. Also, their core values are the opposite of what they embody (quality, transparency, and fun). The eastern time work hours suck even though there’s an office in Arizona. If you bring your concerns to management you will be gaslit or belittled.

Pros

Unlimited Paid Time Off - kinda, but not really.

Cons

Horrible medical benefits - only one high destructible plan that most providers won't participate in. Pay isn't as advertised - barely above minimum wage hourly. High work load and no work life balance. Agents are often expected to come in extra hours to make sales quotas. No life insurance, no long term or short term disability insurance, they freaking sell insurance and don't offer these?!
