Pros

-Fun atmosphere when we weren't running around like chickens with our heads cut off. -Seemed like the company had a direction at first

Cons

-Denied me my bonus after giving me the impression I was still getting it even though I had to leave the company for medical reasons. I left on very good terms so this was a real classy move. -Management refuses to stick to a direction and give resources to IT to accomplish goals -Have gone through more IT people than I would care to list here in the last 2 years because of the burn out environment they have created. -Benefits are poor. You have to use the company clinic and the deductible is high. -Won't give bonus policy out so here it is as far as I was able to finally get info about it. --They will pro-rate any bonus the first year you are there (they don't tell you this) --If you are not an active employee you will not receive any bonus payout (even if it's within 2-3 days like I was) --They will tell you to count on the bonus like it's part of your pay (see above) --Utah law does not protect you if you are promised bonuses so I would recommend you do not take a bonus as part of your pay and insist it's base pay. They are hurting for people right now so push hard on salary if you are worth it. --They are very secretive about this policy so insist they give it to you ahead of time...there are probably other gotchas in there. Here are some other highlights of my time there: Told I'm a lady (I'm a man) Told to basically shut up in a meeting because I brought some reasonable concerns forward about timelines of projects (they had to adjust the timeline anyways because....well my concerns were reasonable) Chewed out for leaving a review of the company app that contained a bug report (no criticisms just bugs...oh and they still haven't fixed the issue) Had multiple managers trash talk their employees to me (non-manager...some of it should have been private stuff) Very disapointing experience overall when I look back. They have so much potential but are being held back by some of the worst managment I have had to work with in my carreer.

Pros

All of the pros no longer exist. They've dismantled the culture to focus on aquisition of, and increasing store count.

Cons

HIGH STRESS culture. Abusive project management and marketing, absent directors, disconnected upper management. Departments abuse business trips as a way to drink heavily on distributors money. IT and developers are not appreciated and talked down about behind their backs. Management is scrambling to figure out why the entire IT department is leaving, ignoring the 2 main sources of the problems. Sad that they can't figure it out.
