Inefficient management structure and the points system is incredibly restrictive. Very easy to rise in the ranks which sometimes made for managers who should have had more training. Managers will sacrifice any of their subordinates' hours due to constant payroll cuts, and will do anything to get their bonuses. Like it or not (I don't like it!) the main incentive for management is their bonuses, so when corporate threatens that, they'll do anything to keep it even if the action hurts the store overall.
