leading edge in tech strong semi-annual review process interesting projects (now) having more strategic focus willing to remove lower performers
Cons
semi-annual reviews seem to be focusing on achievements for that half, and not as much progress on longer term initiatives. while not a bad thing, it can lead to managers positioning short term progress over longer progress.
