Pros

Good insurance and PTO policy

Cons

If you are a “yes man/woman”, this is the place for you. If you are a self starter that isn’t afraid to challenge management, stay away. The current management is more concerned with protecting their jobs than what’s best for the company. Too bad. Beware of the reviews giving 5 stars while at the same time complaining about the company. When 6 people leave one small division in the office, including a manager, within 2 months, it’s a pretty good sign of the management issues that exist.

Michels is a large corporation that grew too fast for their own good.

Pros

Always have work to do. A cost of living raise is common every year. Health and 401k benefits are well above normal. As far as co-workers and majority of direct managers it is great family type atmosphere.

Cons

Employees are stuck in there ways and do not do well with change of the growing company making work life stressful and unorganized. Senior management have the mentality of telling their employees to jump and their employees should respond how high.Nothing is ever good enough. Everyone wants tasks done yesterday the day you are made aware of a task, unrealistic fast pace environment. Pay is low-mid range for corporate employees. Vacation is generally prorated first calendar year of 2 weeks. First full calendar year is 1 week and Second full calendar year is 2 weeks. However, the hand book states this is based on individual job offers. There are not enough employees to get a job done in a time frame needed.
