Pros

Decent pay for work done.

Cons

Virtually no communication from C-Suite with regards to Operations. Layoffs and “restructuring” constantly.

Pros

Competitive pay and benefits are decent.

Cons

You will take the brunt of every customer’s anger when they find out that the cost of renting with Mini Mall is $41.71 more than the website says on any unit. You will be expected to perform duties that are way outside the job description. You will be expected to spray weeds over an area of 5 to 10 acres daily in 90 degree heat, clean 10 to 15 units per day, and keep the entire property, facilities, and offices clean all without missing a phone call in the office. Your manager will tell you to prioritize one thing, then the manager above that manager will tell you to prioritize something else, then they will both chew you out. Instead of having a one-on-one conversation with you to discuss an issue, your manager will chastise you in the company’s group chat for all of your coworkers to see. Instead of trying to create a peaceful work environment, your manager will tell your coworkers that you are out to get them, and vice versa. If you ask for help, you will be punished. If you offer ideas for improvement, you will be shunned by management and your coworkers. If you are a man, you will be treated like an idiot by every female in the office, which is every other employee in the office. If you have a physical ailment that makes manual labor difficult, suck it up. If you are able to assist more customers because you are bilingual, you will not be compensated any differently. You will be forced to drive from location to location because the property manager wants everyone to work at one location and just drive to the other locations multiple times a day. You will not be compensated for gas and you will never get the job done fast enough. The property manager and regional manager are conniving, 2-faced, backstabbing, passive aggressive, unprofessional, and will talk about you behind your back to your coworkers. They will pretend to like you, but will trash you once your back is turned. Corporate encourages everyone to submit their ideas for company improvement, but doing so will lead to your direct superiors chastising you, or in my case, firing you without warning. No matter how much effort you give, no matter how much you bring to the table, if the property manager doesn’t like you, you will be treated poorly until you quit or they fire you. Oh, and the property manager is literally only in the office for like 2 to 3 hours a day. She’ll get there at 10, take a 2 hour lunch, and be gone by 3. But if you’re late, she will chew you out, even though she would never know you were late if you hadn’t told her. Oh let me rephrase that, if she doesn’t like you, she will chew you out. Everyone else is allowed to come and go as they please, but if you have pissed her off for any reason, you will be watched like a hawk.

WORST JOB

Pros

There are NO pros to this company, their system is to use you.

Cons

DONT BELIEVE ANY POSITIVE REVIEWS those are FALSE reviews from upper management at the company. They are a bunch of users at this company. They claim shifts are based on performance but what they dont tell you is they automatically give you the worst or late shifts if you are a remote worker. I advise to save your money, use their sales commissions then STOP making money for them right before you quit. They have NO employee benefits. PTO is actually called VPTO and is UNPAID. There is NO paid maternity leave. They give you 6 weeks unpaid and they barely have any 401k or medical benefits. ALSO they dont take out federal taxes from your paycheck only social security and they will LIE and say YOU didnt opt to have federal taxes taken out of paychecks. This is a LIE literally every single employee was duped and so many peoples taxes were affected. Dont overwork or show your capabilities because once you do they automatically overwork you and want to give you overtime which is on the weekends or work at night regardless of your physical or medical conditions. The management will pretend to be nice but understand they only are after one thing your SALES QUOTA. They have to report it to the marketing director but they claim you are a “customer experience representative” Customer representatives shouldn’t be forced and pressured to make sales. Also dont believe their lies about career advancement. They wont advance you. And if you are making sales for them they will keep you on the phones with a terrible schedule so you can continue making sales. This is the WORST company I’ve ever worked for but thankfully i had a plan this was ONLY a college Job. Once i realized they were using me I saved up my money and reduced my work performance immediately after I graduated. They will replace you immediately do NOT be fooled they replaced so many people that quit already. Their employee retention is LOW. You can also take a look at their various storage facilities majority of them have 2 star ratings because of poor quality, management and employee treatment.
