Pros

You can get really lucky with your manager here, and they offer time flexibility which most can’t take advantage of because they are overworked.

Cons

First- most reviews on here are fake and forced by HR. The place touts itself for great culture which doesn’t exist but management lives in their own made up world. The office is split into two camps- actual hard working people and charlatans who walk around and pretend to work. If you lick boots here, and management likes you, you can get away with anything. There is zero accountability, again if they like you. Get well versed in football and golf, and start sucking up and you’ll never have to work again. Most don’t even show up to work and “work remotely”. Promotions are not merit based- if you’ve been here long enough but don’t do any work then you will be promoted because that’s just the logical next step here. If you work hard, and they notice you burning out they will promote you to prevent you from leaving, nothing will happen before that because you have earned it. HR is a JOKE. Seriously- a literal joke. So are their benefits. They are trying to establish process’s but just like everything else it’s done backwards. They’ve lost some good talent, will continue to lose more people just leaving riff raff behind most of whom aren’t qualified to work anywhere else.

Pros

Good at acquiring companies but not people

Cons

Amazing how many horrible reviews and all to do with management, gossip, clique behavior, lack of training and input and basically expressing the same complaints. Just curious what happens after you reply to these reviews? Does anything change? People have quit/terminated by FORCE basically because its very noticeable when you arent liked.....OR is it because people can be hired for $12.50 an hour and you must get rid of those who are paid more because they were “ACQUIRED” and NOT “HIRED”? Quality and relationships are built on being hired.....otherwise it’s a liability and dollar bottom line (sad that careers are transcended after a decade because we are forced to deal with the WORST AND UNEQUIPPED MANAGEMENT EVER in alllllll my employed years have I ever threw my hands in the air because of something like this)!

The experience you describe is certainly not what we want for any employee at NFP. We review every comment and the input people share informs our efforts to refine various elements of our company, including training, compliance and performance reviews. We’ll never be perfect and changes won’t always happen as quickly as (or the way) people want, but we’ll always strive to be better. Thank you for taking time to provide your feedback. -Mary Steed, Chief People Officer

Pros

There are zero pros to working for this company.

Cons

Easily the most unprofessional, rumor driven, unethical organization that I have ever been a part of. The upper management (Mid-Large Benefit Accounts) is a disgrace and this person should be ashamed of themselves.
