North Carolina State University reviews

The university consistently fails to live up to its values. It aspires to be a hub of innovation, but under-invests in the technology infrastructure and people needed to do those things. It says it believes in diversity and inclusion, but racist and sexist behavior goes basically unpunished. Also, it turns out we employ a Proud Boy who outs activists and intimidates students on social media in his free time. When the administration found out, they decided they're okay with that. So that's clearly not great.

Management is awful, they hire people with no supervisory experience. People are lazy to the point of actually sleeping on the job and getting away with it. No merit raises, you're at the mercy of the legislature, and the most you get is only 2%. That's across the board, so if you do your job well you only get the same as the sleeper. The office itself is rundown and in an unsafe neighborhood. The supervisor is an airhead who has no clue about leadership. Most of my co-workers spend their days gossiping about whatever.
