Illegal misclassification of Field Service Engineers as exempt from overtime. Applicants beware. No work-life balance.
Pros
Israeli company which means Israeli side of the company is very fast paced, very driven and straightforward. They are technically sound and logical. Good product support.
Cons
Illegal misclassification of the Field Service Engineers as "exempt". The job description no where near matches what you actually do. Management on local sites is inept at best and upper management is disconnected. Local management keeps EVERYTHING from executives because they don't want to be exposed. Low morale. Site visits from Israel turn into "dog and pony shows". This company expects 110 percent at all times with no overtime. Computer based business processes are slow, although Israeli side is trying to fix this. Senior Engineers often break down and burn out from excessive workload and direct level managers claim " I didn't know you were working so much overtime". Benefits are mediocre and the insurance is no where near competitve with what other OEM offer their FSE. Lack of knowledge-base in US. They can't attract and retain people who are good at their jobs because they abuse them. The ones that are good at their jobs and have managed to stay on board often end up overloaded and stressed to the max, doing their managers job and not having the time to be able to share their expertise.
