Pros

Flexible enough, small and disorganized enough that they can't come down on you too hard for small stuff. Would be a decent work life balance if you didn't end up with emotional issues and anxiety spikes from essentially experiencing narc/DARVO tactics, just in a corporate group setting.

Cons

The things that leader(s) here are seemingly able to get away with in the name of leadership, the way that they talk to people and the general culture of favoritism and corporate gaslighting/punitive treatment to those who question the tactics being used here is like something out of a movie. I would caution anyone who wants their nervous system to remain intact to refrain from accepting a role here. If you do well in mean girl groups and by blindly following ruthless authoritarian politics, then go ahead and consider- you might thrive. Regardless of all that... no real room for growth/ No career mobility unless you move divisions. No "careers" here at all, at least not in marketing. if you want a paycheck and mind games, go ahead.

Pros

Talented group of people (most). Senior leadership is very knowledgable. Some managers value their work, the company and leadership. Basic benefits. Hybrid schedule.

Cons

This is a "preference over competence" culture where ego takes priority over results. Leadership is characterized by chronic inconsistency: direction is vague, yet you are judged against uncommunicated standards. When gaps in support occur, brand managers deflect blame downward and weaponize documentation after the fact. Accountability is non-existent. Certain managers in leadership are often inaccessible due to extended absences/PTO, and raising compliance or process concerns leads to immediate exclusion rather than solutions. It is not a psychologically safe environment...challenging the status quo or refusing to participate in "mean-girl" office politics will work against you. The lack of diversity is glaring; the few POC on staff are noticeably quiet for a reason. Prepare to prioritize "stroking egos" or your mental health will suffer. There are talented individuals within the company, but the overall system does not support them, unless it involves favoritism. Without major changes in leadership accountability, communication structure, and internal culture, these issues will continue.

Pros

Average pay. Good benefits. Nice office.

Cons

Toxic environment. CIO and surrounding senior level managers are unprofessional, abrasive and directionless. They fail to reward high achieving employees and pass over advancement opportunities by hiring from outside (just to have those new hires quickly leave). Attrition is terrible and unsung leaders have begun to flee. The ship is sinking.
