Pros

-Gym membership and location was prob the best part ab this job -if you follow directions it’s a solid job to keep while looking for other options wouldn’t recc long term though

Cons

-Micromanaging and leadership picks certain people to target -Not much opportunity for growth and raises as well as bonuses have just gotten less attainable the longer I’ve worked there -Leadership doesn’t really value employees too well they try to get around giving employees bonuses just shady definitely watch out for that

Pros

- You work at Sears Tower - PTO - Good first cooperate job for a foot in the door - Most coworkers are pretty chill

Cons

There is a MASSIVE exodus of almost all Top Talent here being fired or quitting, whichever comes first. They company is deliberately making up and changing rules day by day to makes sales go down so people quit because they're making less and less money or get fired because of new rules. They recently fired a 5 year manager over the phone after she already left work without her knowledge. Another 2 mangers that started with the company over 7 years ago have left because of the constant micro-managing and the executives/Presidents that bought the company a few years back have never sold Medicare and are treating the branch like every other insurance sector. They are also pushing out the top 3 current managers and most of the top sales agents across the different programs with blatant harassment and write-ups. The company has lost a few carriers such as Devoted and Humana and from what it sounds like they are about to lose a few other big ones like UHC and Aetna. There is no retention team so after you make a sale you transfer to Member services who does the exact same job that you just did and then the clients never hear from us again so for a lot of agent half the work they've done over the month to get paid is a waste because they disenroll the next month. The leads the company is buying are getting worse and worse each year as well. They used to buy leads that would send clients over who were looking at reviewing their Medicare benefits and knew they would potentially have to change plans, Yes the leads cost a bit more but they lead to better sales, better retention, and less complaints. Now they are buying leads from Lead Vendors have lawsuits against them for calling people on the National DNC list and Lead Vendors that are telling clients they qualify for a $3,000 monthly food card with a 2 minute phone call. I'm pretty sure ODAH also just had a data breach and may end up in a class-action lawsuit as well soon because of it. As far as bonuses go most agents are making 300-800$ a month on bonuses after taxes. You will be getting roughly 3-4k a month after taxes and insurance and everything and then a small bonus ontop of that that is HEAVILY taxed. We used to get a lot more but the company is about to fold so they're paying us less and less each year. They gave Agents over a year here a 5k retention bonus to stay but most of them left right after or are getting fired now.
