Solid Company, Great Benefits

Pros

Great benefits, pretty good people to work with. Many people stay with the company for a long time, so no shortage of experience.

Cons

Management is very sales focused, which can lead to neglect/overlooking the work done by the supporting staff.

Pros

Pay was ok, and benefits are expensive for the size company this is, and their observed holidays list wasn’t bad

Cons

Raises are mostly about enough to cover cost of living increases, and are only once a year. Promotions don’t seem to be often, meaning they usually fill open positions with outside hires. HR has no interest in doing anything that goes against management. Sick day policy is downright stupid (it’s up to local management, which decided you get 3 days a year to be sick, and decided this while COVID was already starting to spread nationwide). Company dragged their feet on COVID action, and used their “essential business” status to justify having everyone come into work, regardless of what non-essential products they were working on. Retail displays are not essential, and employees working on them should not have been put at risk to work on them.

Pros

-I was able to work in two of the design centers in the US. I grew from being a temp intern, to a full time employee who later ran the intern program. -The benefits are incredible and they match your 401k in full up to 4% and partial up to 8%

Cons

-For some, depending on the office you in, it can take a long time for advancement
