Pros

The people in every team are the only reason people stay

Cons

- Poor pay with no salary reviews - most employees are struggling to pay all the bills in this economy - no room for progression unless you’re friends with board memebers - Weak management —micro management, controlling, unapproachable, and unsupportive - Constantly changing unrealistic KPIs with little consistency or clarity - Poor incentives that do little to motivate staff (free coffee on management ) - Continuous changes, from desk moves and KPIs to extremely high staff turnover - Morale used to be high despite the pressure, and the culture was once a very positive place to work. However, throughout 2026 morale has fallen dramatically. Most employees now dread coming to work, with many feeling anxious, unhappy, and burnt out. Several team members have needed time off due to the impact the environment has had on their mental health.

Pros

PHMG is a great place to breakout in a sales role and gain experience. They offer a 15 week training program called the Academy, where you get first hand coaching, product knowledge and training, and dive head first into an SDR role with constant feedback and support. You also get the commission you earn right away, with a lot of potential to earn extra cash and fun events such as President's club. I was able to attend after my first month and they really want you to experience the fun incentives. Once you graduate the Academy they move you over to a team on the senior sales floor where you still receive constant coaching and support. The team environment is motivating and keeps each day exciting. Everyone is always there to lift you up and keep pushing you to succeed. The culture and environment here is like no other and I was lucky enough to find some of my closest friends at this role. Definitely a work hard play hard mentality where we celebrate the small and big wins daily.

Cons

It is a grind, there are going to be hard days where motivation is hard. It is very metrics focused and you will be cold-calling all day everyday. Kind of the typical entry level role that comes with sales.
