Pros

There are no pros here.

Cons

Tons of politics and favoritism. People are promoted to leadership positions because they are close to the CEOs or they have been at Panda for a long time. This company does not value performance and intelligence. There are a lot of incompetent people in HR who are overtitled. They waste the company's money and then try to hide it from the founders. And when you bring up issues to the HR department, good luck seeing any change. They also work to protect the favoritism and nepotism in the company. There's a complete disregard for decency and respect. Bullying and harassment are not addressed and questions around unlawful/unethical practices are ignored. People do not leave the company because the bonuses and stock options pay out well. If you want a lot of money and have a high tolerance for incompetency, politics, amorality and toxicity, then this is the company for you.

Pros

Stock options, gym at the corporate office.

Cons

Your skills are not as important as you obedience to the founders. Fear based company culture. The more profits the company makes the more benefits/ perks the company takes away from the employees. They stretch their employees to do the work of 2-3 people. Work-life balance does not exist and nor do they care. If they see you can handle the work of 2 or 3 people they will not push to get any help for you. It’s now the expectation. Meetings on weekends are not rare. Working late hours are normal. Promotions? Also rare and not worth the humiliating hoopla you have to go through to get one. Human Resources have no power in how to handle toxicity this company. I’d rethink joining this company… Your soul is in jeopardy.

Pros

- Supervisors are great - 20% Discount on Panda Concepts

Cons

- To become permanent, you have to go through a course called "Landmark" ($650) - No insurance available for temps. Very low salaries compared to market rate. No benefits at all. - To become a perm: temps must give a panel interview and an interview with Peggy (Owner). The interviews only focus on what they want you to learn from Landmark, nothing on professional growth. - For permanent employees, promotions are discussed between a committee and is given to who's next in line for one and interviews by everyone of course. - Obstacles throughout the temp to perm and promotion processes. - Very heavily culture oriented. No diversity. It honestly feels like a cult sometimes.
