This company saves money at all costs, including how it treats employees. It pays less than any other company in the industry. In addition, the benefits are half here what they would be anywhere else. Examples (401k match 1.5%, annual raises 2%, family health insurance costs $400 a pay period for family, etc, stay bonuses for employees during sales are laughable, they will not pay out all of your leave if you put in notice so take it all before telling them). Everyone is replaceable.
The company is so disorganized that many things are promised to people that are not followed through on. You will be promised insurance will change, or something you ask for will happen and you will be stringed along. I don't believe it is malicious, I don't believe people are actually empowered to promise what they do. Don't fall into the trap or illusion that you will be taken care of.
Your entire experience depends on your direct supervisor because they all run their own mini companies. Get a good one and you will be fine; get on their bad side and forget it.
Promotions do not depend on your skill set but if you are in someone's "in club".
Ethics is not a value of the company. Residents are treated poorly (because again we save money at all costs) people are made fun of behind their backs.
