Horrible place to work

Pros

Wages and benefits. Working with others who support childern.

Cons

Based on my professional assessment working with Dr. Lisa Pion-Berlin her destructive leadership company environment was aligned with my professional standards or well-being. Dr. Lisa Pion- Berlin organizational culture emphasizes excessive oversight and limited transparency, which has created an environment that does not support open communication, collaboration, or professional growth. As a Director, I am committed to working in environments that reflect respect, trust, and healthy leadership practices, and I could no longer continue in a workplace culture that I find professionally unsustainable which was ran by Dr. Lisa Pion-Berlin. I recommend no one work for this organization until she has resigned.

Horrible place to work

Pros

Helping families and children become reunited.

Cons

The CEO frequently yells and screams at employees and routinely tells staff that they are never right. She makes it clear that all decisions are hers, regardless of an employee’s role or responsibilities, including hourly employees who are expected to follow direction but are not allowed input. The work environment feels toxic and hostile. Employees are written up for “unprofessional behavior” while being spoken to in a disrespectful and aggressive manner by leadership. Overall, the culture is demoralizing and unhealthy, and I would not recommend working here.

Pros

Great coworkers, good pay in this job market, good work life balance, great benefits

Cons

The program is new so everything is being built from the ground up. It almost feels like you are being set up to fail. CEO is so difficult to work with.
