Pros

Flexible schedule which is nice. Unfortunately the reason it is flexible is because there are not enough appointments for everyone.

Cons

You are asked to do other people's job without getting paid to do it and without any training. Dealing with the head office in west Caldwell is extremely difficult since no one is willing to help AWFUL pay structure Bigger appointments are given to the reps who have been there the longest. No chance for new people to make money Forced to lie to homeowners and explain the window is different than the Pella window you can buy at Lowes There is 0 difference.

Pros

Good product. Good name recognition.

Cons

They don't value sales reps' time. Since this is a commission only sales job, they can hire as many reps as they see fit. The problem is when there are only enough leads for 3 sales reps to run, and they go ahead and hire 6. The manager ends up with a choice. Do I equally distribute the leads, so that everyone starves, or just go ahead and keep feeding the leads to my top guys, so I don't lose them, to heck with the rest of them.

Pros

Great diversity and trauma bonded coworkers 💪

Cons

Horrendous management. Horrendous expectations. Horrendous quality. I don’t know how many multi-hundred unit containments we need before something is done about how this place is run. Just know when you buy a Pella window, you buy a remake. 60 seconds is not enough time to make a good quality product. Constant changes made by a management that has never worked a day on a line create unnecessary stress. Management delegates their own work to those under them, like their own audits. They do not treat us with respect. You can tell we are objects and tools to them. Corruption is off the charts (word is a production manger was just fired for sleeping with his subordinates). We just had “education meetings” to discourage us from forming a union. We are told positive change is coming, but we’ve been hearing that for years. Every time you turn around, another benefit is cut from us. Bonuses are gone, profit sharing is gone, and they’ve even found a way to deny us a cost of living increase by changing its name to something else.
