Pentair is widely known in the water treatment and water systems business. Through acquisition, they accumulated many of the legacy brands that were the cornerstones of the water industry and founded by truly great entrepreneurs throughout the past 100 years.

Cons

Every day, more people that I have worked with at Pentair in Brookfield WI, Glendale WI, are resigning because of poor treatment and lack of integrity by management. The culture is no longer one of teamwork, honest collaboration, and growth that it once was. It is a grind pulling into the parking lot every day.

GREAT work life balance Leaders are focused on coaching/teaching instead of delegating Good visibility with the c-suite The new Pentair is based on our win right values and focuses on balancing accountability with empathy for others. Really great place to start off your career. I've never experienced the coaching and opportunity Pentair offers at other companies.

We are a lean organization, sometimes we run VERY lean.

The pay was Ok as well as some of the training.

Cons

They did very little to promote those actually excelling and lost their culture in about a three year span. They promote woman and/or minorities that support a very liberal management agenda. If you are a white male, you have zero chance for promotion. A case study on how not to treat good employees. I actually had an HR person tell me I was over paid when it wasnt even relevant to the conversation and my reviews were really good.
