Pros

Great reputation in the business.

Cons

Awful pay with no bonuses or raises. No employee morale. Everyone is under trained. Everyone is expected to do much more than their job without so much as a "thank you". Complete disorder and awful leadership. Took away our option to have HMO insurance, made everyone have a deductible. Forced to take at least 4 hours off for an appointment when using PTO or sick time. Aren't allowed to even order a pizza for birthdays every 3 months. Jack Zahran (CEO) either has his head in the sand, or he is greedy, selfish and a terrible leader if he doesn't fix the awful situation at Pinkerton.

Pros

Centrally located. Good communication with HR. Fast at providing information.

Cons

Contracting experience. Poor benefit package (expect at least -300 or -600 if you want better insurance). Poor to zero representation in front of client (you are a contractor thus without representation - expect to be treated like trash). The client in Houston is a Fortune 500. You will not do ALL SOURCE...basically, all you do is report the news. There is POOR COMMUNICATION/POOR TRAINING and expect a VERY VERY VERY BAD ENVIRONMENT! Little work, little pay. Similar jobs start at 65k in Houston.

Pros

Best work environment I've experienced in my long career. Management is very supportive of the employees, always available and encouraging. I never felt like I was just a cog in a wheel, but felt like a valuable part of a high performing team.

Cons

Several of the positions are in support of a client, instead of directly supporting Pinkerton. If the contract ends, so can your position. As a contractor, your salary is set by the client.
