You get to a point in your career that you now the bills will get paid. So, when I decided to change jobs culture, values and leadership were of paramount importance in my search. My choice to work at Polygon was one of the best career decisions I ever made. Their values are not just "words on a website" (Integrity, Excellence, Empathy). I see it in everything they do - whether its employees or customers. Good people, good leadership.
Cons
No company is perfect, not even Polygon. There is a lot to improve upon - infrastructure, systems, communications, etc. And, being a decentralized organization has it's challenges. The difference is, these things are recognized as issues and there is a culture of continuous improvement.
Terrible management and no patience to develop employees. Took me 6 weeks to get hired and 6 weeks to get fired. No heads-up that I wasn't meeting expectations!
