Pros

The company offers a great deal of flexibility when it comes to how and when you work. This can be incredibly rewarding if you need to go to the doctor or make your kids' school function. I've never worked with so many intelligent, passionate people. I'm continually impressed by the overall team's commitment to delivering quality solutions and willingness to pitch in, regardless of their title or responsibilities.

Cons

Communication can be a bit of a challenge when working with teams located across the US and abroad. The company is growing rapidly, which can cause some mishaps. That being said, there is so much opportunity for people to help steer the ship and make a lasting impact.

Pros

Excellent collaborative environment. Colleagues are excellent in their fields and there are always people available to help/troubleshoot issues or brainstorm solutions. The project process and structure adheres to the SCRUM methodology and does so very well. All levels of the company have adopted and adhere to this development process. There are opportunities to learn and grow through peer review and pair programming. Excellent onboarding process. Bringing in new technologies is encouraged and always explored. Q-free uses some legacy technology, which they are working on phasing out, but also plenty of bleeding edge tech. Above average benefits package. Well stocked snacks and drinks bar. Monthly staff luncheons. Flexible hours. Some options to work remotely when necessary. Interesting working for a global company with offices all over the world. Regular visits and input from corporate in Norway. They genuinely care about their employees and their well-being. Just a solid place to work and grow your skills/career. Highly recommend.

Cons

Nothing worth mentioning. It's a good place to work!
