Pros

Can be good money, friendly staff, shifts go by quickly, good food

Cons

Management team and especially owner never give recognition to hard work Expect to be verbally abused by expo line if they send food out wrong and you need it corrected Hosts aren't trained to understand the concept of a rotation Sections range from 12-24 seats and management picks favorites for larger sections and closers regardless of their work ethic Schedule availability is just a suggestion to management Owner has no idea how a restaurant should run, only how he can make/save the most money Food quality going downhill Employee restroom situation atrocious

Pros

This is a growing company with amazing food. You don’t leave every day feeling like a punching bag putting out “fires” table-to-table.

Cons

Work life balance is nonexistent. Many of the things told during interview, did not fruition as promised or drastically changed as owner saw fit. Bonus or “incentive” plan just ended up upsetting managers. How can you be the number one rated restaurant and receive what amounts to a slap in the face for a bonus? Honestly, keep the “incentive” and give me a higher salary if your going to expect 60-65 hours per week. Turnover rate of managers the highest of any restaurant or company out there.

Pros

Fellow employees are great, food is awesome, and you can make good money if you really try. The shifts usually go by quickly because of how busy it can get.

Cons

Management is the worst I’ve seen in the past six years of working in the service industry. The owner isn’t much better which is probably why we get treated poorly in the end by management. The owner is very manipulative and demeaning to his employees. Wait times can be ridiculous because the kitchen often gets behind and many times 2 managers and 3 hosts will be needed up front when that shouldn’t be the case.
