Pros

For what its worth, Quadient, specifically their Vancouver team(QuadientAP/Beanworks/whatever they are calling themselves these days) has a good company culture.

Cons

My time at this company has been incredibly disappointing, and I feel compelled to share my experience in the hope that it might help others avoid the frustration I've gone through. The engineering leadership here is a major source of my disillusionment. They lack any real vision or strategic direction, which leaves the teams working in a constant state of confusion and frustration. There's no clear roadmap, and honestly, it feels like we're just stumbling along without any real purpose. The codebase is old, and the tech stack is even older. It’s like trying to build something new and innovative on top of a crumbling foundation, and it’s incredibly demoralizing. Every day feels like a battle against outdated systems that should have been retired years ago. But instead of acknowledging this and pushing for modernization, leadership seems content with the status quo. It's almost as if they're afraid of change—or worse, they just don't care.
